AGNES with Ben Williamson

Ben Williamson, a founding director and executive chef of Brisbane’s Anyday hospitality group, will lead the Bar Vera kitchen for our upcoming Chef Series.

After immersing himself in Middle Eastern flavours during his early career in Bahrain, Ben transitioned into Brisbane’s culinary scene. He gained recognition at esteemed restaurants like Enoteca 1889, Urbane/The Euro, and Gerard’s Bistro. In August 2020, he introduced Agnes, a restaurant focused on wood-fire cooking, earning praise for its contemporary take on ancient culinary techniques with a commitment to local Australian ingredients. Agnes now stands as one of Brisbane’s most acclaimed dining destinations.
