Hunter Vercoe is an Australian photographer and filmmaker renowned for capturing the essence of oceanic landscapes and surf culture. His work often merges photography and film to explore themes of travel, exploration, and nature. One of his notable projects is the short film Counting Sheep, shot along New Zealand’s South Island. The film showcases surf culture and the profound connection between humans and the ocean. Produced in collaboration with Thomas Surfboards, it features a range of surfers and creative visuals. Vercoe’s photography reflects his deep connection to the sea, presenting both powerful and serene imagery.
